DANTE

The DANTE system has been developed at the Center for Language Technology at the Macquarie University. It name stands for Detection and Normalisation of Temporal Expressions, and the system does what its name suggests. As output it generates TIMEX2 annotations as specified in the TIMEX2 2005 v.1.1 guidelines. This project was funded by the DSTO.

In 2007 DANTE participated in the ACE TERN task.

The demo of the system is available online.
